"Fecundity" by Annie Dillard.

The aretical Fecundity is talking about small things that didn't take much attention from people. It starts with the fecundity of plants and animals. The writer basically tells readers that people are more willing to control the birth of plants and animals. And it seems that people are hating to see the reproduction of animals a bit more. This brings me a thought that whether every creature has an equal right to live. The answer is an obvious no. People are killing insects, animals and plants everyday but they rarely recognize it. Similar things are happening everywhere. In my hometown, Dalian China, people can see fewer animals and plants in the city even the government is trying to make the situation better.
People say, it is never too late.
I would say, it will be late until you notice.
When I was a child,
Birds are singings all around the sky of the city.
Now, you can only see doves,
Which are feeding for tourists,
Walking on the squares.
Then I start to ask,
Where are those birds in the sky,
People say, they have gone with groves.
Then the government knows to plant more trees in the city.
It is too late,
Because these new trees are too small to hold nets for birds.
Before the trees grow up,
Where should the birds settle their kids?
People are smarter,
Because they do things with thinking.
People are fooler,
Because they never think further for others,
For their later generation, for plants, for animals and for the earth.
